Using this feature customers are able to place orders and request quotes via the website at any time, much faster than using email or fax. To place an online order or quotation request perform the following:
Sign-in to your Mainland Fasteners online account by clicking Sign-in in the top right corner of the screen.
Next enter your Mainland Fasteners Customer Number and password. If you cannot remember your password click the Forgotten your password link to reset it.
If you don't have a custoner account or are unsure of your customer number please contact us.
IMPORTANT If you are using your initial password we suggest that you change this to something more memerable. You can do this by simply clicking Account in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select Password.
Find the product(s) you are interested in by either entering a category description in the Product search box at the top of the screen or by browsing product categories on the Home page.
Once you have found the product(s) you are wanting to order/quoted click the Add to Cart button next to the product details:
Next adjust the quantity of products required in the field provided and then click either Continue Shopping or Checkout if you are ready to finalise the order/quote request. You can adjust quantities or remove products at any time by clicking the Shopping cart button:
Once you have finished adding products click the Checkout button in the shopping cart.
In the Checkout screen confirm the product and quantity details are correct, supply a contact person name plus optional email address to send a copy to and any instructions or notes you may wish to supply.
Indicate whether you are ready to order or require a quote by checking the appropriate check box. For orders enter an optional purchase order reference and indicate your preferred shipping method.
Finally click the Send button.
If you frequently order the same product(s) you can save a lot of time when ordering by adding the product(s) to your Favourites. From the favourites list you can quickly add products to the Shopping Cart avoiding the need to perform a search or category browse.
To favourite a product use the following steps:

In the shopping cart check the box to the left of the product(s) you want to add to our favourites.
When it comes time to order a favourited product:
Click Account in the top right corner of the screen, then select Favourites.
Lastly click the Add to cart button next to the favourite(s) you want to order, then continue to the Check out once your order is complete.
To delete a favourite check the box to the left of the favourite and then click the Delete Favourite button:
