Machine Screws or Metal Threads (MTS) come in a range of diameters lengths and materials.
Machine screws may have a similar thread to bolts, but that is where the similarity ends. Machine screws have a head driven by a screw driver, phillips, pozi or slot, whereas bolts have a hex head.
Their applications, which include securing components within engines, electronic products and general machinery. Another interesting aspect is how machine-screw head dimensions can differ from screw to screw.
