An essential tool for all woodworkers. Traditionally used for marking right angles and checking squareness between joints. The hardened steel blade has been chemically blued to prevent corrosion and provide a longer working life. The hardened steel blade is attached to the stock by three hard wearing brass rivets. To provide accuracy with the right angle the stock has been fitted with a thin brass plate on the angle side of the stock. This maintains the right angle and also prolongs the life of the square.
