Marking Gauge Hand Tools, Footprint Woodworking Tools

This is a traditional tool that is a part of every woodworkers tool kit. Very simple but essential for woodworkers when marking a line prior to sawing; chiselling or cutting. The Footprint Marking Gauge is made from Beech wood. The marking pin has been hardened to prevent the pin losing its' point and thus extending the working life of the gauge. A tough wearing yellow plastic thumb screw allows ease of adjusting the head on the stem of the marking gauge. Radiused bottom edge to slide easily on the wood being marked.
